SHEPHERD SCHOOL AROUND THE WORLD
Pastors overseas are leading churches with no training. You can help change that.
In towns and villages across India, Pakistan, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Uganda, men are pastoring churches with a Bible, a willing heart and little else. Most could never afford Bible college. Yet every week people come to them with broken marriages, grief and hard questions about God, and they have to answer.
Shepherd School changes that. When you enroll, your tuition trains you to lead at home, at work and in ministry, and it helps put these men through the same training in their own towns. You grow, and they grow with you.
Here are some of the men you will be standing with.
India
Samarlakota, Kakinada District, Andhra Pradesh
Naveen Kumar Valluri hosts a Shepherd School class in Samarlakota. Every week his students gather with their Bibles and notebooks to study the same teaching our class studies on Thursday nights in Albuquerque.

A new believer baptized in the river
This is what training leaders looks like when it works. Naveen is not only teaching. He is leading people to Christ and baptizing them.
Here he prays over a new believer, baptizes her in the river, and the women of the church welcome her as she comes up out of the water.

Kenya
Sebastian Obima runs a Bible school and an orphanage in Kenya. In February 2026, Cross Christian Fellowship ordained thirty pastors he raised up through Shepherd School, and more men are in training with him now.

Here he is at the orphanage, serving a meal to the children in his care.
Pakistan
John Paul pastors a church in Pakistan and is one of the men we are helping to train. Here he is preaching to his congregation.

Baptisms at Hamel Sonu’s church

Hamel Sonu leads a Shepherd School group of more than fifty men in Pakistan. In March, new believers at his church lined up in white robes to be baptized.
Sri Lanka
Satheesh Segaran is a Shepherd School student and serves as our Asia Coordinator. God put it on his heart to build a mission house: a place to feed the needy, to give tired pastors somewhere to rest and pray, and to train young leaders. Here is Satheesh with his family, and his message about the work.

Uganda

Patrick Kibirige founded Good Shepherd Uganda. Cross Christian Fellowship trained him, and helped build the second floor of his high school. He has raised up pastors who now work alongside him.
Here he is with Pastor Scott and Kathy on a visit to Albuquerque. Below, Patrick and one of his students tell how the school began under a tree.
We will keep adding stories here as our men send them.
Put Shepherd School in a pastor’s hands
Many pastors overseas have no internet. About $40 puts a MegaVoice player with the Bible and Shepherd School teaching in one pastor’s hands.
Be trained to lead
Shepherd School trains men to lead at home, at work and in ministry. General Ministry is open to everyone.
