Hello, My name is Con Lian Mang. I am married and blessed with two daughters. I have been living in Australia for the past two years, and I currently live in Armidale, New South Wales.
By the grace of God, I have had the privilege of serving in Missionary among the Burmese people in Thailand and Malaysia for twelve years. In 2019, God graciously opened the door for me to be involved in church planting ministry in Malaysia. I was later appointed to serve as a pastor there, and I continued in that ministry until I came to Australia in 2024.
When I came to Australia, I was thankful for the opportunity to entrust the care of the church to one of the disciples whom I had discipled.
At present, I continue to serve the Lord according to the opportunities He has given me. Every Saturday evening, I teach the Book of Genesis through Zoom to both longtime members and new believers. I use an expository approach, seeking to faithfully explain God’s Word and apply its truth to our lives. I also share the gospel with Burmese people in my local community whenever God gives me the opportunity.
My prayer and hope is that, as more people come to faith in Christ, the Lord will open the way for us to begin a regular worship service for Burmese believers and seekers in our community. I trust that God is the One who builds His church, and I desire simply to be a faithful servant in the work He has entrusted to me.
My family has also been attending the Sunday service at ADBC Church. I have been blessed to serve alongside my daughter on the Praise and Worship team, where I have the opportunity to play guitar. It has been a wonderful encouragement for our family to worship and serve together.
I was introduced to CCF College by Pastor John Robb. I would like to sincerely thank Pastor Thom and all the members of CCF College for their warm welcome, kindness, and encouragement in inviting me to attend this college.
I am also very grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself to my classmates and to share a little about my life and ministry. I look forward to learning from God’s Word, growing together with my classmates, and being equipped to serve the Lord more faithfully.
Above all, I desire that my life and ministry would bring glory to God. As the Apostle Paul reminds us, “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Thank you all for welcoming me. It is a great privilege to be here, and I pray that God will use this time of study and fellowship to strengthen and equip each of us for His service.
